Hey, I've just got few questions I'd like to ask.

I would like a hair cut that is shorter, but it still has to be professional looking. I need something short, but not buzz cut short as I have lots of scars on my head. My hair is usually wavy, but on occasion it is really curly or straight. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for me.

As for binders what do you use to make it so that a binder doesn't show through a shirt. I've got a binder, but I haven't worn it much as I have class all day most days (8-12hr days).

I'm debating telling my main physician about being trans at my physical because they know all of my medical history and are an endocrinologist. I'm not out to any classmates in my major (very small 100 students over ugrad and grad), so I wouldn't be asking for a T prescription.

Make sure and tell the stylist person that you want a male short haircut, otherwise they will crop it into a pixie cut. Sorry I don't have more to suggest; I still haven't figured out the hair cut deal for myself.

Nick is right - layering is the way to hide a binder. I have several hooded sweatshirts with zippers I throw over shirts when I don't want to wear a button down. In the summer, a short sleeve button down is good.

Mentioning it to your doctor may be a good place to start. Is it your major that has 100 people, or is it the entire school? If you just meant your major and the school is larger, do they have any kind of GLBT presence?

Yeah I see the same 40 people in all of my classes. My school has an LGBT group, but the groups presence is very small due to school culture. The school really doesn't care much about minorities even if they spew BS about diversity to all the potential students. I'm not sure of any LGBT people in my major due to the homophobia/transphobia.

Edit: It is about 4-5K students
