Hi, my name is Lisa and although I've been lurking on the forum, I havnt been posting much. I'm 32 and recently (over the last year) have come to terms with being m2f and have decided to work towards transitioning. I joined this forum becaue everytime I went to google with a question about being trans it would point me here.
I first really became aware of my trans feelings about 6 years ago shortly after I came out as a gay man, did a bit of research into transitioning but didn't do much about it because i was worried i would never pass. But last Halloween I started dressing up to go as little red riding hood,(which is been talking about doing for years but always made last minute excuses) but after halloween I didn't stop dressing up so ive been exploring my thoughts and feelings about being a girl.
I feel like I've learned a lot so far about my feelings by reading some of the posts in the forum by people who's situations are similar to mine. I just wanted to say thank yoy and hello to everyone.

Welcome to Susan's.  I'm also from Canada (Alberta) and started dressing up as a woman from a Halloween experience as well.  I also came out as a gay man (but what probably makes me different is I had no attraction to men, at least not in a romantic or sexual way, it was just easier to express my true self that way).  Hope you make yourself at home here, there's lots of great people as I'm sure you've already noticed.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!
