I have found the subject of shaving rather interesting lately, it's amazing all the things guys have been telling me. some all, "Shave every day, even if you don't have much". And others, "Don't shave or it'll grow slower!"

Do even cis guys have their stories and theories, etc.  It's the obsession for men I guess! Lol

Theres a forum called the beard board where the topic is shaving and growing beards. It's people's lives in some cases.

I tried doing this for two years and it never made a bit of difference.
Interesting. Perhaps it is dependent on how much 5a-reducatse your skin has or doesn't. This bearing relevance because it is actually DHT that is responsible for androgenic hair activation and not T itself. T converts into DHT directly within the hair follicle (5a-reducase) so that is indeed strange it would work for some and not others. Must just be one of 'those things'?

I'm definitely not imagining the slew of newly developing hairs where a week previous to giving it a go, there weren't any. I mean absolute zilch. I seem to be a bit of a late bloomer so far in that particular department (in keeping with the rest of my relatives on the mother's side) so, it really is the topical application pushing that along for me. I'm again not saying it will work a miraculous Billy Mays effect for one and all and overnight but it should do something for the majority.

Give it another 5 months or even another year, Idk how it works but I'm sure it has to do with genetics. I'm actually a pretty hairy person, I'm not on T yet and get a mini mustache so when I do get on T I will be one of those dudes with full blown beard.

Not always the case, mate.  I was hairy as a goat pre-T, but I've had less hair growth since being on T than other guys who were smooth as babies' bottoms pre-T.
