I find it really ironic that the article at the bottom called those names ones that "morphed from blue to pink." Because pink actually used to be a boys' color also. Because pink was a derivative of red, people believed that it was a stronger color, whereas blue was seen as more feminine because it was the color of the virgin Mary. It wasn't until about the 1940's that our modern mass-marketing culture decided for us that pink was feminine and blue was masculine.
