I've been wondering about that too. Calling both my ex and I "dad" would get confusing. Luckily, my son doesn't call either of us "dad" and instead calls us "truck" and "tractor." I have no idea why.

Well wouldn't want to go Freudian on you. :D

How about Human, Suzi.

I think that best fits everyone, we are complex creatures with all sorts of complex things rolling through our complex lifes.

I dunno I've always wonder why we have "races" - it is the gamer geek in me for the longest time I use to think when someone ask what race I was I said. "I am human"  ;D

That's a little bit too general for the original question.  "This is my human" probably convey's the wrong message.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

Personally I think the term is "IMPORTANT" because that's what you are to them. Your children are part of you and you are part of them that will never change .My children grew up calling me by my first name I don't know why they just did and they still do to this day and they are in their 40's.Some people call me Pat others Pete it does not matter to me it just gets my attention.Didn't your daughter take your fabulous picture for you to post she must love you for who you are inside and to me thats what really counts. When they come to you for advice you give it to them from your heart does it matter if your dad or mom it matters because you are part of them and always will be. If your in doubt try asking you maybe surprised at their answer .

Yeah you have to forgive me, its late and I was trying to think.

Honestly I don't see what is wrong with Mom, I've heard gay parents being refer to both as Dad/Dad Mom/Mom so why can't we be referred the same. At there base Dad refers to male parent, and Mom refers to female parent. People can have two moms or two dads!
