I have so many games, some of which I haven't even played yet.  I said I wasn't buying more but now I see BioShock Infinite on sale for $13.59 and I loved the other BioShock games, so anyone here have it?  Should I get it? Steam version, BTW, I don't have a console.

It's good but has 0 replay value and has a really convoluted story that assumes you search every nook and cranny for reels (for the background to the story). Not sure about the DLC story since the first ones were combat related.
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

I think this is a simple "yes", particularly at that price. I manage to get it for $20 on Steam and was really excited about that.

The storyline is big and you should take your time and actually pay attention to that.

OK thanks for the replies! :)

I had convinced myself to save my money since I haven't had time for gaming lately and there's a lot left to play in Borderlands 2 but now I have to reconsider, lol.  Maybe...

I wouldn't.  All of my friends claim it's if Bioshock was reduced to an on-rails story.  None of them had many good things to say about the actual gameplay.

Also, TotalBiscuit rails against it pretty frequently, and he tends to make great points as to why a game is or isn't worth your money.

i don't really see how the gameplay changes ruined it, even if only having two weapons at a time was annoying, and really one of the things I've always loved about games is losing myself in the story. having all kind of bits of fluff to find only make it better, for me. and even without that the storyline will screw with your head in the most wonderful way.

I am really looking forward to the release of the rapture-based DLC, though. that looks like it'll have even more yummy story bits to search through!

I waited too long for that sale.  It's 19.99 now, which isn't too bad but I can wait.  I'll probably be able to find it for that or less if I wait 'til I have time to play anyway.  Thanks for all the advice everyone! In a way, lots of different opinions are more interesting than if everyone says the same thing. lol

Weird, but it was back to $13.59.  I think someone at GameFly hit a wrong key and changed the percent off by accident when the price went up.  Today is the last day at that price so I went ahead and got it.  Downloading now (17GB, wow).  Thanks again for all the anvice!
