I've been looking for reviews on here but i haven't found any. Has anyone on here gone to Dr. Hammill in Houston Texas for HRT? He's pretty close to me and doesn't require a therapist letter. He says he works to try and help those who need financial assistance, I'll be transitioning in college and my mom isn't helping me financially, or letting me use my college savings for anything transition related so I need to know how much to save. I'm already planning about 10,000-12,000 total for top surgery/mansculpture from Dr. Garramore, but hormones are definitely the first priority.
About how much should I save for hormones? And if you don't recommend Dr. Hammill, is there another good doctor for HRT you're recommend in texas? Preferably one who doesn't require a therapist letter (i've got a lot of mental health issues and I don't want to have to deal with all that)

I've heard of him and he is highly recommended. As far as what you'll spend on HRT I couldn't tell ya.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

I go to Dr. Hammill, he's a good endo.
I didn't need a therapist letter.

Hormones aren't that expensive and since you're a trans man you just need testosterone.
I'd say probably anywhere between 75-90 dollars for a prescription?
