I'm 37, born male, have yearned to be female for years but only recently had the confidence to commit. Problem is I'm tall & well built with dark body hair & a masculine face. How effective would intensive hormones + ffs likely be given time? Happy to spend some money if I can achieve dramatic, convincing feminisation with soft skin, largeish breasts & round curvy bum. I definitely want a permanent, total transformation & would have no problem getting SRS at the right time. If only I could look like some of the beautiful post-op t-girls, fill a bra naturally & wear knicks with no unsightly bulge - is this possible? Am certain I'd be truly liberated for the first time in my life!

Welcome Rebecca,

Your liberation sounds like a dreamy and perhaps expensive vision but you are certainly not alone in having it.  There are considerable hoops to jump through to achieve what you want and one of those is typically starting with a gender therapist to help sort things out and maybe consider what this all means to you.  You can certainly find examples here of people who have realized their dreams and found the keys to unlock their gender identity.  Yes it is possible with persistence. patience and planning.  Have fun exploring.

Yes, most of your list is possible however you need to give it time.

Nothing wrong with Tall, lots of tall ladies out there.
Hormones will help strip off muscle bulk as well as a good diet and exercise.
Hormones do take time to do their magic so effects are not instantaneous and FFS and BA need to wait before they are considered.
Changes to the skin will happen as E takes effect.
Big rounded hips not really.
Breast will develop and vary between girls. Some have D and bigger. Very hard to hide.
SRS, yes please I can't wait to get rid of it forever, I hate it so much. It's huge and ugly.
Dark hair, all the better for Laser, you can get started as soon as you want. Just ring and make an appointment, lots of guys get it.

To start you need to speak to your GP, get a therapist and pour out your soul. It is scary, I did it 3 weeks ago. They are supportive and can help and will be able to provide the proper informed medical advise.

Such a massive change needs to be broken down into a lot of small steps for it to happen and be successful.

Learn from others here as they take the small steps to their happiness after years of misery.
