I went to my Unitarian "society" (a lot of members are allergic to the word "church") this morning for choir practice and service.
It is warm and sunny today, in the mid-70's (Fahrenheit), so I didn't want to dress too warmly (made that mistake last night.)
I wore my red calf-length skirt, which has a narrow white strip next to the hem and a pink lining, a day-glo orange petticoat

, light blue tights, a light blue short-sleeve men's shirt, and black canvas shoes. I'd prefer something less substantial in the shoe department, more like flats, but I can't find flats in my size.
Anyway, while I don't think anything would make me "pretty," given my body, I do think the outfit itself looked cute.
(OT: Some day I'll have to figure out how to make a Disney princess dress that fits me (both in terms of dimensions and in terms of being suitable for my body shape. Then I'll have to get up the nerve to wear it someplace!)
