I don't feel like I can post here anymore or like I am part of the community. It feels like everything I do is either wrong or misinterpreted. I love Susan's, I come here every day and try and help people where I can. I just feel like I'm not part of this anymore and that it's changed. I don't feel able to post like I used to. I'm not going to do anything rash and delete my account, but I don't feel like I can come here anymore. Maybe it's just me and that's fine. I love everyone here like family. I don't know, I just don't feel welcome. Maybe it's just me, I just needed to let my feelings out somewhere.

You are a valuable member of this community.  Seriously, I'm not just posting this to make you feel better.  I can say you have had very sweet things to say to me in the past that cheered me up when I was down.   There is nothing wrong about your genuine nature.  Even when you post venting threads, think about all the other young men going through the same issues that can relate.  You're needed here and well like by many on this forum. 

As for the opinions of others, yeah, I know how important that can be.  Sometimes we care deeply about how others feel about us.  It's human.  I know that I have sometimes taking things out of context and have made a bigger deal out of something when it wasn't warranted (which is a major regret of mine).  Maybe somebody did that to you recently?  The Joey I know doesn't come on here to fight or hurt others, so I imagine that must be the case. Even if you have some less than positive experiences here, think about all the positive ones that you do and all the people you have helped.  I for one would be very sad to see you go and hope that doesn't happen. 

Please stick around.  We need you.

I'll admit, half the time I post I feel like I'm not saying as much as I should (or that it's not all that useful).

Ah Joey, everyone feels misinterpreted sometimes and sometimes old buds disappear and it can be hard to learn the new faces, but don't let that or anyone make you feel like you don't belong here. Your posts are valuable here.

I remember a while ago someone else said they felt the same way - and a lot of other guys (it was the ftm board) chimed in and said they felt the same. Sometimes I do as well. I think we tend to forget that others do see our posts and they do care about us. And we do care about you, and I'd be pretty bummed if you leave. You're one of the forumers whose posts I always follow.

The site has changed, anyone can see it, no one can deny it, and some of us don't like the changes.  We can make our preferences known, and the leadership here can adjust things as they see fit to accommodate the group they want using the site. Hugs, Devlyn

Thank you everyone, it means a lot. I think it's just me going into overdrive. I'll stick around for a while and see how I feel. I think recent events have rocked the boat and I just need to get past them.

Atta boy Joey, hey we all go through that here and sometimes we just need to take a short break and unwind. There are times when other people's messes spill over on us and affect our own lives and feelings, when that happens we need to consider the sources of our anxiety, take a deep breath and count the positives in our own lives. Glad you're sticking around, you're family here kid, we'd miss you if you disappeared!

Take a look at your reputation meter.  That doesn't look like someone who isn't a well liked contributor.  We all have our moments of doubt in life, which I know well because I am the princess of doubt and fear, but we can't let it defeat us.  I'm glad you decided to stick around and hope you make that a permanent decision.  Hugs.
