I watched all of them... several times. When she switches to her male voice mid sentence it's quite jarring! Talk about cognitive dissonance. She's really funny also.

I tried her way of doing it, and couldn't get it to work. I think just because I naturally use those parts of my voice all the time. So I couldn't find what she was going for. Probably better for someone that doesn't do cartoon voices to amuse themselves. lol

As time went on, Candi spoke more and more in girl mode. To be fair, her girl voice is amazingly good. Her sense of humor might be cartoonish, but I think she deserves kudos. I think most of us would be very happy with that kind of achievement.

I loved her videos and the voice. Really great! She seems to have stopped posting some years ago, though. Understandably...

Funny I thought I replied to this back when it was posted....

I meant I do cartoon voices! I think she's really funny and her voice is great.

Me doing cartoon voices makes it harder to do a non cartoonish woman's voice. I have to retrain how to use my voice.

I can say, it takes a lot, a lot, ALOT, of practice to get a good voice. I've been practicing for almost 4 months and I sound, as my wife calls it, A very gay guy. But it is still leaps and bounds from where I started.  I was very much all bases and baritone.

That's what I'm trying to avoid! But I don't think I ever sounded that way.

It does take a lot of practice. You are learning to use muscles in new ways.

Yes, but even sounding like that I am still making progress. Make sure to record yourself at least once a week. You'll hear the progress you make. And it gives you the motivation to keep it up. Good luck. ~hugs~

Wow, that was quite an eye-opener.  Clearly takes practice but seems pretty straight forward in principal.  She's also really funny (in a good way) especially when she goes into male voice
