No substitute for plucking and shaping, but if you have a problem having them obviously feminised full time, I guess you could clip them short, cover with makeup and draw back in, but not so sure how that would look overall.  Actually though, you could pluck out lower and top  side hairs to make a smoother appearance without affecting the arch much and wear them like that both ways, after all, such is common enough with male models and movie actors and is a trend these days, such as double earrings on professional athletes right along with shaved chests and such.  A carefull pluck job leaving the brows thicker but cleaned up would work either way with little if any comment or notice from anyone and would also improve your male looks as well as work ok as female.  thicker eyebrows on females has been popular since Brook shields came into popularity.  You don't necessarily have to have high arched thin brows, in modern times that look isn't as common on the streets as it once was.

This makes me so glad I'm a guy. I plucked one eyebrow hair once because it was growing in a weird place. Tears sprang to my eyes instantly and the pain was awful. I can't imagine removing more than one or allowing someone to put hot wax on my forehead and rip them out!

All yours girls,

Dennis

I agree with Terri here and I think I have managed a happy medium. Clipping them short helps also or at least plucking out the thick long ones.

If living in two worlds that really seems like the best compromise I at least can think of, though Dennis still wouldn't be happy, but I doubt HE really gives a darn about it, .... After all .....

Just as long as I don't grow a unibrow on T.

And yes, Melissa of course I'm a wuss. Remember, I'm a guy. Ingrown toenails require crutches. Colds require at least three days' bedrest, and god forbid I should get the flu!

I know the pain well, but I love heels and how I look in them so I endure the pain. Men are wussus, so good of you to admit that Dennis.  ;D

I went to transformations here in manc a couple of months ago for a changeaway, and found the pain of the heels worse than smashing three of my fingers playing football

One thing I've been doing for the last couple of years is not trying to do it all at once.  If you really thin them out all at once people will notice.  I try to do one or two hairs a day and that way the change is gradual.  My eyebrows have gotten thinner over a long period, and I don't think anyone as really noticed.  I think it is possible to find a happy medium where it can look good in both male and female mode.  I did get a haircut today and asked the woman if she could give me a sort of androgynous look.  Somewhere between a male cut and a female cut.  (The same principal I used for the eyebrows.  A style that could be worn in male or female mode without attracting a great deal of attention.)  She raised one eyebrow and looked at me like I was some kind of nut case.  I had taken a chance that she might be understanding, but it turned out she wasn't.  I was a bit embarassed for asking.  It seemed like the longest haircut of my life.  Oh well, I guess I won't be going back there any time soon.  By the way, I was excited to find some nice jeans today at Marshall's where I was surprised to find some larger than normal sizes.  From reading the posts here I understand that a nice pair of woman's jeans can go a long way when going out and not trying to attract a lot of attention.  I'm almost ready to give it a try.  Anyway, back to the eyebrows.  I would love to have beautiful arching feminine eyebrows that got very thin toward the outer edges, but it simply does not work if you want to continue playing both roles.  I get so jealous when I see them on a woman, and sometimes when my wife an I are watching a move, I will point out that the actress has beautiful eyebrows.  Like Ashley Judd for instance, I think she has gorgeous eyebrows.  Sometimes it's hard for me to concentrate on the actual movie.  I tell my wife I would love to have eyebrows like that.  My wife just shakes her head and says, "What a wacko!".  I still feel like she's coming along about the whole thing though.  Talk to you soon, and good luck with your eyebrows.   (.

I was thinking that last night at Aeon Flux!  Aeon had magnificent eyebrows.  She was also kind of androgynous, but of course still hot  >:D  I like the gradual idea too.
