Shelly, aww, about the pics, I understand, especially with a family and being a wonderful Mom. Perhaps you could put some pics in a better place as Susan put a thread about using the Gallery & you get your personal "my gallery." Susan said firefox may not work but I eventually did get a pic uploaded. I think there is a setting to make private which makes it unavailable to the public. I have yet to check that out.

petite... well my weight is 141 pounds and my height is 5 feet 10'... I am rather smallish,
never had broad shoulders a petite man (and also now a petite woman).

I have a rather big head, though, that impresses me sometimes... but maybe it is a false impression.

In any case I wear M size of clothes (Italian M size, I don't know in America...)

One week away from 6 months on hormones and one month since I met my other half!  Hooray!

141 lbs at 5' 10" are excellent proportions, size M must stand for women's medium? Your head is fine honey, we all fuss about the dumbest things some times, it's ok honey!

So well, I had my first night out in public as the new me, and it felt so great. I was so happy. I don't know if people say me as a guy, or as a really tall woman in heels. Here are some pictures. Not the best but some. I hate that I can still see my beard shadow, I guess I need more foundation to cover that up?

Thank You!! No I haven't but wish I could afford it....not that I think its a necessity though. Natural is such a huge compliment to hear....that is all I want to be seen as. I know its too late for me to be cute or pretty....but just to blend in as any other women is all I want. I will say..... I have been treated like that wherever I go and at work where I am stealth.....but my inner thoughts do affect me at times!

Your pics look really great.. you have feminine features everywhere. Very fabulous!

As for beard shadow, I would suggest a decent concealer just on the areas with shadow and add the slightest bit of reddening or orange powder or tint after (I use a teeny tiny bit of blush- it's so easy to go overboard). Then you shouldn't need much foundation at all!

@Ксениа, About the beard shadow, you could be right plus what Jenny has said. It could also be nothing more than the way the flash of light hit your face. It's not noticeable in the other pics.

THe way that the light flashes does not help, but when I look into the mirror, I can see it still. I still don't have enough money for laser .... I hope soon!!!

For the best beard shadow cover up use Dermablend. It is by far the BEST product I have EVER seen on shelves to cover facial hair. Those tricks with lip stick and multiple layers don't work they make your face look orange. I tried it. lol..

It is a product meant to cover tattoo's if that gives you a idea!

Dermablend makes like a bunch of different products.  What is it that you use for this?

I just visited the Dermablend site, it was pretty easy to follow    Just click on 'Find Your Shade' and then 'Get Started'

I used a small mirror so I could compare my skin tone to the color samples

At the end of it you land on the selection page which describes the various products and what they are used for

Took me about ten minutes
