Took my microwave in to be fixed (number 3 don't ask but no fire brigade this time) and the woman at the counter just asked for my car keys as she asked for one of the guys to get this ladies microwave from her car.

That's a shame no fire brigade, perhaps next time. I'm sure that would make you happy!

I can feel the first effects of E starting. DD's overnight? Perhaps not yet but they will come.
So happy.

Wow wow wow, What a MORNING. With capital letters, indeed.

- For starters, it's my fifth  consecutive day without reverting to male, and if I reach the psychological barrier of a week, It will be the beggining of my full time.

- After going out, I meet with my BFF (basically my mentor, basically for coffee and chocolate cake) first time I have cake in god knows how many months.

- I was referred as female in the street. Good!

- It was freezing this morning. On the good side no sweating, but I had to accept that I needed a coat. My last one was bought in 2009 and the men's odor won't leave unless I use a flamethrower. So we went shopping After trying several shops, I got this one:



I wanted to take a photo of it on myself, but lightning here sucks... 

- So well, we go ouw ways, and when I get home I find my next door neighbour, and he asks me to which floor I was going. He did not recognise me! I wonder how his face looked when he saw me opening my door. Of course, he has seen me only once or twice in 6 months, so he may think I am the girlfriend.


Today's aspect

But overall, so sweet. A great cold dry morning (I've been waiting for this weather a long time), and a kickass coat. I even found a good way of covering my adam's apple without sweating like a hog with the foulards.

It's stupid because I've been passing as male/living add male as I can for years, but going to the shop and buying some mens deodorant and shaving gel made me so happy just now. I've brought it before but never at a checkout that wasn't self service. And I've had two days of not crying in the shower.

Being happy should eventually be a long term condition for you Alexander, being stupid would only be true if continually passing you felt that you weren't. We all do that to ourselves though, I still cry in the shower too hon, because only you and God know about it and it's safe. Congrats on you're progress!

I had a cry in the shower today too... I was feeling angry and sad at the unfairness of my history. My father always used to say "life isn't fair" whenever I thought something wasn't fair. Now I think that's about the worst philosophy. Something not fair? What are you going to do to fix it?

I'm just absolutely elated right now. I had my 2nd Laser appointment and came out of it just filled with joy! (See the "Hair Removal" forum - I posted about it there).

Then when I came home, my wife had a headache. I gave her a head & back rub and we talked a bit about real things that directly relate to my gender change. She's had laser... we compared notes there (my upper lip doesn't hurt a bit - she said she would just about jump out of the chair). We talked about BP meds and I talked a little about Spiro (she works in pharmacy and knows exactly what that is). I think she's beginning to accept who I am -- not that it's going to help us get through this together... but at least I see hope of her being a friend again. That part is bittersweet.

Mainly, though... my happiness is from the laser. It's such an amazing feeling and my neck should be nearly bare in 2 weeks!! The savings in shaving alone!!!!!

I subscribed last night to Susan's... and the lovely Sephirah updated my icon today.

Growing hair out of one's face always seemed like such an odd plan to me. When I go off into the great beyond I wast to respectfully tell the Big Kahuna on what a dumb idea it was. My butt will be no doubt smokin!

Shoot... not just the facial hair, but the body hair too! I mean... maybe it all served a purpose once (but why the gender dimorphism?)... but come on!

I am one of those!  I did see a T shirt in a Lesbian run shop that I almost bought once that said "I like Jesus, it's just some of His followers that are so annoying" I had to agree.

Another positive thing today, I told one of my friends here about being trans. Or rather I came in in a bad mood and she asked me what was up, and eventually I asked her how you make a doctor's appointment. In the end the whole thing came out and she said she'd known for a while because of my mannerisms, which is slightly worrying as I'm supposed to be "female" here, but very reaffirming at the same time. It all went well and she's going to call the GP to get an appointment on Monday if I don't dare to do it myself.

My family supports me. Completely. They accept me. My 15 year old cousin and 13 year old cousin call me he and accept me as their brother (cause we were raised together and are basically siblings) and their parents will love me no matter what and adapt to callin me he. I love them all. They're so great.

Joining here made me happy. I've only been here a few hours, but you all are so great!

Went to Deaf Coffee chat binded.  Didn't have to speak. AT ALL.  Didn't use my voice for over 3 hours.  Just signed and made friends.  It was great.

I have a confirmed appointment for starting on DepoProvera.  Hopefully that will fix having to deal with shark week.
