so, I'm planning to start T in june ( the timing is just good then, ill be a few months on once school starts and get a fresh start as a guy at university, so good timing is good)

I was just wondering though, I know on T your chest redistributes some of the fat from your boobs, but for guys that are like an A or less than a B how much reduction did you experience.

I'm very much an A, i bind with a sports bra and I'm flat, ( which is super lucky for me ) but i got my folks convinced im gonna be on these hormones but they don't even want me mentioning any kind of surgery. so im pretty sure I can't get top surgery until im out of the house.

but if my little chest get's shrunk enough does it look like a convincing male chest? do you have to have surgery for it to look that way? how much did you 'shrink'?

sorry if it's too personal i just kinda wanna know ^^'

I think I have an A cup, although I don't have a clue as I never owned a bra and could make do with just sports tops. Nowadays I'm not wearing anything because its not needed, so maybe smaller than an A. Anywho, I'm five months in on T and have not noticed any fat distribution yet. Not from the hips, butt, but also not from the chesticles. Maybe it is too soon to say and guys who have been at least a year on T can comment, but it might help. I do think that if you have such minimoobs, there isn't much fat to take away and just tissue remains. This tissue will have to be surgically removed.

The placement of a female's nipples are different to that of a male's. They are placed more forward and closer than males' nipples, while males' are wider apart.
So whether or not the fat redistribution flattens your chest, the above still applies. If that's something that doesn't bother you, cool, otherwise surgery would be necessary to reposition the nipples.

Another thing to note is that you will still have some form of breast tissue. The fat can redistribute, but not the breast tissue.

One thing I have learned from this site, think it was Chuck, it's that if you're super overweight, and have hips your fat isn't just going to redistribute to a more male pattern. If you lose the weight then the fat will sort of re-apply itself in the right places. Or something along those lines. I think to lose your chest better you'd actually have to do exercise for your chest to get even smaller. Which is possible I guess.

Ah ok

Im aware that the fat does actually shift its just replaced as it comes in

Yeah it would seem like i would need surgery anyway to make it look male.

I think i am super freaked out about them getting any bigger between now and t. I always hear stories of the boobs getting bigger around 18, 19, 20 because you fill out more...

But thanks for the feedback guys. I'll just have to talk to my parents more perhaps they will understand.

Perhaps im just not sure what all the option are for boob removal.

I've only ever seen the surgery where you are left with the long scars under your chest but it sounds like there are other options.

Does anyone want to elaborate?

I was a small B-cup.  I've been on T for 2 years and they have lost definition and now I have sagging skin pretty severely.  I will have to go with the double-incision because of the skin.  Mind you, I bound before T - but they didn't lose the firmness until I started it.

I was pretty flat pre-t and t didn't really do anything. I got keyhole, with the incisions along the outer edge of the areolas. I didn't need any changes in nipple location/areola size etc but that will depend on the person, some people are really flat but feel that a different surgery type would give them better results.
Here's a photo from before surgery, I hope that's okay to link? toplessness So if you're around that size or smaller you could get away with very small incisions. Unfortunately it does not really make recovery any less uncomfortable!

He just described it somewhat. Keyhole might be an option if there's not a lot of extra skin and/or the areola are in basically the right place. They go around them and remove the tissue through them. If they are too big, they remove some of the diameter and then stitch it back. It means you wouldn't have those long horizontal scars on either side of your chest.

I think if your around A-B size your are able to get keyhole, I where jugded to be a small B so I got it.
You could also be the very lucky type where it not even to really be noticed. but in the end its only a profecional doctor who can tell you what to expect or not.

ok thanks.

that makes sense, I thought there was only the one way but then i wondered how some of the guys would have noticeable scars and some none. sorry if that sounded kinda blunt im not sure how to word that differently.

I'll look into the keyhole stuff, that seems the route i would liekly take by the descriptions you guys posted.

thanks :)
