More specifically, in mirrors I feel like my eyes look big and my face as a whole looks slightly more round.  When I use webcam, It usually looks incredibly long and makes my eyes appear more tilted.

hmmmmmmm.

how about in photos?

Haven't taken a photo in about 2 or 3 years.

FYI, you do have a pretty nice face- I can see why you liked it in man mode. xD

Aside from your nose which should lose a lil bit of size on HRT you do have a pretty good face for it, it's not TOO masculine.  Just need to advance the hairline a lil IMO.  Oh, the eyebrows. Definitely need work there. xD

I was wondering if the webcam was distorting the image.

That's what my friend Victoria said to me. She's an attractive trans woman. She said I have been hesitating last year because I'm a good looking guy. But that wasn't the reason.

Yeah, the area where my hair parts just recently started thinning a bit in the front.  :(  Some of it seems to be growing back, but I need to address that. Still, I'm grateful for the hair I have.  ;D

I'm getting the brows done tomorrow. i have neglected them.

Zapping the upper lip hair may also help. Not wanting to sound offensive, but it somewhat draws the eyes away from what otherwise could be rather feminine.

Yes, I have a very heavy beard. I hate facial hair! I had just shaved before those pictures were taken. I have to shave twice, the second time against the grain, but I always have a shadow.

I plan on doing either laser or electrolysis, depending on finances. I have picked out one of each in my area. I also haven't started HRT yet. I'm at the very start of my transition.

I'm fortunate enough to have a lighter moustache than beard or hair, but it is still somewhat noticeable.
Laser treatment is usually the best way. I read that it's $100 per treatment somewhere in the Lower Michigan region for laser on the upper lip. It sounded rather reasonable to me. There's probably several places out by you that offer similar rates,

I've noticed the same thing--going hypothesis is that it has to do with some combination of the angle and the parts of your face you focus on when looking at a mirror as opposed to a photo, but I don't know.
Also, you look great! Especially for only three months on HRT! And I totally see the resemblance.

It's almost identical when I just get out of the shower. xD

I hate photos. I think I look awful in all of them except a few. I think it is because I have a lot of facial expression - my facial muscles move a lot and if I look into the mirror, it is a moving image with autmatic feedback ;) . in a picture it freezes and that makes it really look bad as I either have an odd expression - one eye closed, some part of the lip raised, some teeth showing ... etc. OTOH if I try to not use my face muscles on a photo, it also looks bad as I look sad, fake or stoned then with a bland expression. I cannot make a "photo face" for some reason.

I have this problem. I have a very animated face and highly feminine mannerisms, but any picture I take is an almost guaranteed dude face.

I don't identify as transsexual, so I hope no one objects to me posting here. Here we go.

You have a lovely face and i like the dress.

@Devlyn, Thanks for your pm, I came straight here. You are all woman honey! You graduate to you look fabulous! I love the dress, flow over & accentuates the curves! Very impressed you have grown out your hair, lovely waves & curls. Very inspiring. My hair is about 10 months of growth, but not sure if I can do anything with it, all silver/grey. I think I will be staying with the wig. I don't see any make up. Have you had laser or light soft facial hair? A smile of confidence, you have blossomed. Be Proud of yourself.

Love you.

Well thought I had posted in here but guess not. Anyway took this friday I have people telling me they see changes but I barely see any difference in my face from pre-hrt, at the moment I am just under 9 months into hrt. Hopeful or forget about it and give up?

Before/2 and a half months prior to hrt:

Current/8 months on hrt:

Edit to add before pic

Hi Emerald, difficult to know how much you've changed without a before pic but I definitely see a feminine face there! Unfortunately we're often our own worst judge of how much we've changed because we live with ourselves every second of every day and it's hard to remember the difference even with pics. I'd say trust your friends on this one!   :D
