My name is Charlie. I'm FtM and 19 years old. I have been registered here for awhile, but I am always at a loss for words when I have to introduce myself. I live in southeast Alabama and have a virtually non-existent social life. I have gone to three PFLAG meetings in the last three months (they are only once a month here), and met some great people, but I would really like to have some kind of interaction with people more than once a month. I am hoping to find that here. :icon_flower:

Hey, welcome to Susans!

Congratulations of taking your first steps. Many people are in the same place as you with a limited social life and little interaction with people in your position. Don't ever be afraid to speak here, you'll always find people to talk to and who are here for you :)
Farewell to my friends, farewell to the life I knew. I burn what once was, and in the ashes I am born anew.

Hey Charlie, nice to meet you.
Unfortunately for you, Alabama isn't the best place for meeting friends who accept you for who you really are. I still have problems with this at university, in Michigan, outside of the transgender group that meets one weekly, which still isn't often enough to express myself the way I truly am, instead of putting up a male persona to mask it.
I feel your pain, bro, and wish there was something more that I could do to help, even if it was something simple as a hug.
Whatever you feel, know that it's not the end of the road, and that people really do care for you and want you to be happy, in fact, you deserve to be happy. :)
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Hi Charlie, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8049 members. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

Hey Charlie!

I'm new to posting in the forums as well! And, as another poster said, Michigan isn't the social capital of the world :P so I get it. I hope you find everything you're looking for here!
