As you might know (I really can't remember if I posted about this or not) I've been having trouble getting in touch with a therapist. I either cannot get a response from them or I hear bad things about them. My mom also seems against paying for a therapist right now.

But I think I finally found a solution. I found out that the Planned Parenthoods near me do informed consent. Because of when I want to start T and when my birthday falls, I will definitely be able to start T before I go to college! Before it was a question of whether the therapist would give me a letter that soon, but now that's a non-issue! I'm so excited!

This is just so awesome guys like I have been struggling so much feeling like I have no control over starting my transition, but now I do!
;D ;D ;D ;D

First off, congrats. Having a plan is always an important start.
Secondly, many colleges have excellent health services, even Michigan State, which isn't known for people health, but animal health, has got me kickstarted in the right direction. If you're able to start before you go, you shouldn't have a problem switching over.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.
