Well I wasn't trying to offend. I mean, I'm Christian my own self, ya' know.
My happiness in my faith or in general does not
rely on other people coming to Christ, or being saved, or whatever terminology one might want to use.
With many who try so hard to convert others, this is where I see co-dependency...sharing one's faith is one story, but there are some who are entirely too hung up on others' salvation....they become enmeshed, so to speak. They feel it is
their burden to make sure that this person, or group of people, come to think as they do, believe as they do. This is the co-dependent behaviour I refer to.
And too, (since we're now talking about food

), let's meet the practical needs of people
without the
expectation that in their gratitude they'll spontaneously want to believe as we do.
