Because I found way too much chest hair to hope to pluck it all before school, so I stayed home so I could wax it. People just don't realize how hard this can be on me.

...No real purpose to the thread. Just felt like complaining.

I've done the same thing  :P I've missed out on events or gotten to them very late because I noticed my legs or chest and just couldn't leave the house that way.

No one seems to understand how much i hate having body hair >_< it makes me inexplicably self-conscious

I absolutely hate my body hair, it kills me that i can't do a single thing to hide it.

I spend roughly an hour every morning just removing body hair. I especially hate it when I have any hair on the back of my hands, so I even spend the time to tweeze any leftover hairs on them just to make sure they're completely smooth. Really wish I had the money for permanent hair removal right about now.

I've never called out sick to pretend an illness.  Seriously, I had to remove my wisdom teeth about 8 or 9 times, lol.

I'm sorry about the body hair blues.  I can relate.

That's called "Calling out healthy"  ;)

I've missed 22 days in the past 6 months due to PTSD/depression issues. Never called out due to hair, though. But then, I shave in the shower as needed. (And then later in the afternoon I find spots that I missed... :( )

Just a tip.  Keep a roll of duct tape around.  Works kind of like waxing but much quicker when you're in a hurry.  Unfortunately it's not really good for short hairs.

You have to keep your priorities in line. You made a wise decision. Regret nothing.

In the past, I occasionally would have a Vision problem,

Fortunately now, for a few days a month I can work from my home office and can by enjoy just being Cindi.
