So I finally started T! It feels so surreal. After so many years I finally got my prescription on Tuesday, although I couldn't take it until Wednesday as I needed another blood test.

I went for testogel instead of shots. It just seemed easier for me. I'd heard some negative things about it over the internet so I was kinda worried but 4 days in and there has already been some pretty big changes. On the first day my appetite definitely increased and my sex drive is pretty high. Before my sex drive was pretty much non-existent which was a side effect of some medication I'm taking but it has definitely come back.

Also I've noticed more hair on my face. I'm really surprised because I really did not expect that to happen so early on. I was thinking it would maybe be a month before anything came through but if I look closely enough there is a lot more hair travelling down my jaw line.

In addition to that I also learned that I could still take my contraceptive pill as it's the progestogon only pill which won't effect my testosterone. I prefer to use that as my main form of birth control with my partner and plus it completely stops my periods, which I know will eventually happen with T but I'd rather not come off it and end up getting a period any time soon.

So that's whats been going on for me recently. I'm really excited to see what will happen in the next few weeks :)

I had obvious hair growth on my chin within a week. It steadily spread to cover the whole under-side of my chin and now I'm cursed with a horrible chin beard that doesn't grow past a quarter inch!

Congrats! I've been on testogel for a year and a half today and the stuff has been great for me! Worked far quicker than I anticipated! Expect a high libido!!!

That's awesome! How's your voice doing? I've been considering T gel, so it's impressive that it's acting so quickly.

Congrats dude! That is impressive for such a short time. I'm pretty sure you are feeling absolutely fantastic at this point.

How does the T gel work, if I may ask? As in, where would one apply it to the skin? I'm pretty much pre everything, and I am just trying to get as much information as I possibly can. I live in a rather small island, don't know anything about where to go here to get this sort of information.

T-gel, you apply on the shoulders or inside of forearms, sort of unfatty areas. It works well, though maybe not quite as fast, unless you aren't able to absorb it.

As far as I can tell my voice is pretty much the same. My throat feels a bit tighter but I think I might be getting a cold so that might be why. I've always had quite a low voice anyway. Whenever I answered the phone as a kid and it was my mums boss she'd always say to my mum "I've just spoken to your son." However as I've got older it certainly isn't low enough for an adult male.
There haven't been any other changes over the last couple of days although my muscles have been aching a lot and it's not down to working out. I wasn't sure if this was normal or not.

As for the T-gel I just apply it to my arms and stomach every morning. I wait about 5 minutes before putting my binder and shirt on. It seems to be working quite fast for me.
