Been playing this wargame Battle Academy (squad level tactical WW2 game from Slitherine). Like it enough I fronted my friend the cash to get him a copy so I could play him (he's also a wargamer). He said something nice to me one day (commented on my appearance) and presto I told him 'consider the game a gift, you can focus on buying the expansions instead :)

Ok he knows I am TG.

I went to his place to show the game to him on his system initially one day. I was dressed as I always am dressed. Did so in front of his wife and pre teen daughter. No comments were made though. But in conversations, it appears he plays his game overly much :) Wife complains, and likely valid, he COULD be looking for work a tad more aggressive hehe. But she is also not a gamer and appears to be a cliche wargamer wife ie so many wargamers lament how their wife complains about being wargamer widows :)

I have been dying to ask him though.. 'Hey Andrew, is your wife aware that in addition to you playing this game all the time, you are also effectively playing this game with another woman?'.

Ok I know there is likely no chance of this, but then again, I don't claim to know everything.

I mean, I have certainly made the effort, to make my friends realize, this is not cosplay or cross dressing, I am full time a female, not an act, I plan to get the parts changed and some day I could well say I got changed next to their wife in the pool change room and boy what she had to say about you while we were in there to her other friend :)

The questions I might ask of some of my friends ..... :)
Well being TG is no treat, but becoming separated has sure caused me more trouble that being TG ever will be. So if I post, consider it me trying to distract myself from being lonely, not my needing to discuss being TG. I don't want to be separated a lot more than not wanting to be male looking.

Yes! I hate protecting other people at the cost of swallowing witty words :D

...always dress... doesn't the sailor suit give you away?
