The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

So, my Star Trek Fighter model that's I've been plugging away at for...err.. God knows how long now, has been getting great comments from Trek fans. One even wants to build a physical model of it. But, besides that, Andrew Probert, Rick Sternbach, John Eaves and Doug Drexler really like it too and have been giving me great pointers and feedback on my design as I go. Yes, help from the pro's!

Today, in the mail, I got this. :D

I'm so happy! :D It's like this:

I essentially lopped off all of my hair last night, and I'm still loving it to bits.  Longish side bangs on one side, shortish bangs on the other - everything else, *poof*.  After growing it for nearly two years, I forgot how cute my cheekbones are.  They're the greatest feature on my entire person, and I just spent 10% of my life hiding them!

Who says transwomen have to be feminine?  If I do decide to transition fully (I'm starting to love the idea of being on hormones but presenting as androgynous), tomboyish is where it's at!

It may just be the people I hang out with... but I don't know very many women who come off as super feminine. There are a few - some of whom I admire greatly - but I'll be wearing jeans to work except for special occasions like most of the guys do.

I think I got regendered today!  (Tip of the hat to kabit for the term).  I went to refill some scrips (in male mode, my only for the moment), then wandered aimlessly about the grocery store while they were being filled.  A clerk in one of the aisles saw me looking around, out of the corner of his eye, then said "Can I help you find something Ma'a........n?", regendered as he looked all the way up at me.  It didn't even click with me at the time, only after I hit instant replay did I hear what he had said.  Really?  Maybe I'm making some progress after all.   :icon_mrhappy:

:D Congrats!
