I think I got regendered today!  (Tip of the hat to kabit for the term).  I went to refill some scrips (in male mode, my only for the moment), then wandered aimlessly about the grocery store while they were being filled.  A clerk in one of the aisles saw me looking around, out of the corner of his eye, then said "Can I help you find something Ma'a........n?", regendered as he looked all the way up at me.  It didn't even click with me at the time, only after I hit instant replay did I hear what he had said.  Really?  Maybe I'm making some progress after all.   :icon_mrhappy:

Kudos!  :eusa_clap:

After a tough week struggling with lots of illness, I gave myself a real treat by ordering plane tickets so that when I go to England to see my girlfriend this Christmas, instead of torturing myself on a boat for 4 hours - I just take a 23 minute plane ride instead. Now every single ticket is ordered and I can't wait to see her again :)

There's nothing quite like seeing the smiling face of someone you love in person :)

I'm being made into a witch or Cruella DeVille. My psychaiatrist (who I just saw) said that I have some resemblance to Julia Roberts, and, if I had the right clothing (which I don't :( ) to try and be her from Pretty Woman. She gave me some false eyelashes to help. She's so great! She's also going to find me an endo as well.
Probably because we still didn't have a secretary until last Thursday. Come this week!

Midterms? I didn't have any really. second bio and chem test in the last few weeks, along with a fourth math test looming, I didn't really have a midterm week.

My wife and I had supper tonight with a friend of mine who just came back after spending the summer away. His birthday is the day before mine only a few years earlier about 10.We have always had a lot in common and have the same sense of humor. WE are well connected and are very close friends.Three years ago he told me he had untreatable terminal liver cancer and his scans were horrible. It was almost time to renew our vehicle tags which I always do for 2 years I told him to do the same.He balked and said I won't be here that long.I said just renew your tags you will be here and smiled.Well we just had supper tonight 3 years later and he is going strong.Things are getting better for him with his liver and he is happy. The power of prayer can be amazing.  Pat
BTW I was the only one who had confidence that he would survive I asked him tonight and that's what he told my wife and I, not a single one of his DR's was positive with their prognosis.

Wow Pat, that's terrific! I'll pass that on to my little brother who has stage IV liver cancer, he'll appreciate it.

Second laser session completed just as painful as before despite using numbing cream. Though the power was higher and the pain was equal to when I didn't use the numbing cream so I guess it worked a little. :P

I had my first electrolysis appointment last night; it went very well.  Kind of stabby/burny, but I was able to tune it out.  Managed to take care of some whiskers at the corners of my lips that have always been a pain to shave.  With luck most of 'em are dead and I will have a tangible benefit from my first session!  :)

The corners of the lips, under nose and ears are always the most painful to get rid of through electrolysis. Good going Robin, you're on a roll lady! Use some Emla cream and take a 500 mg Tylenol about an hour before each session, it helps.
