Tomorrow is my first week of really transitioning. No ill effects from hrt at this point. I actually feel pretty good physically. I am not sure if this means something but today I was in a meeting (teleconference - i do that alot because i work from home.) And the attendees where given stern direction to not multitask. eg Do other stuff while the meeting was going on instead of listening intently to what was being said. Anyway, over the last weekend I went and got my first set of gel nails and they are too long for me. They look great but I can't type worth beans. So, I figured they told me to pay attention, I technically was not doing their bidding just listening so I filed my nails. I have to admit that there was a certain satisfaction in filing them. I kept saying to myself "Damn those look good!"  :P

I do that same thing on the conferance calls.  Put on the headset and when it gets boring, fix my nails.

Nice!

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

It was rather liberating. My dilemma for today is what to do later this afternoon when my calls start. Perhaps wax my legs..  :D

My toes are already black for Halloween... I also have a flower and stem on each big toe. I do really like red however and seeing as how Halloween is now officially over..... hmmm.......
