My mom couldn't finish her burger at work so she threw it in the trash because she thought it was tainted by the heat. Well I retrieved the burger (it is in foil) and left it outside for a critter to eat. A cat was just sitting and looking at me in a bush and as soon as I left, it came to eat it. The cat actually carried it to the bush and is eating it now. It makesm e feel happy not to waste food. I threw a fish head and some guts out there yesterday when my mom put it in the trash and it's gone today. I love feeding critters.

When I lived in So. Calif. many folks including myself would set their containers of uneaten food on top of the newspaper racks so the 'homeless' people wouldn't get in trouble for digging in the trash for something to eat

I got a call from someone I haven't seen in a long time and who helped me a lot a couple years ago. She just left a message since I was in class at the time, but it was a nice surprise.

A nice shopping date is set nexy week with a woman I went to grammer school with. She is so nice, pretty & we are going to shop like there is no tomorrow. She is so happy for me that I'm changing my gender to become her sister & so am I. We wil be girl friends for life.

I'm still happy from what happened last night at my parents house. We had the tough discussion of this is now reality and they seem to have exited the denial stage. Made mom cry a few times but I think it hit home when I was leaving and she asked if I ever cry about any of this. I teared up as I said yes I've wept myself to sleep many times and have cried a lot over what all of this means for me. Her ahhhhh and teared up reaction followed by a good hug as I left just put me in a bubbly happy mood that is still with me today.
