I have a hard narrowing it down to just one album, so instead I'll just list a few of my favorites

The Beatles — Magical Mystery Tour
Foo Fighters — The Colour and the Shape
Led Zeppelin — Houses of the Holy
UFO — Lights Out
Ozzy — Bark at the Moon
Pink Floyd — Wish You Were Here
Iron Maiden — Brave New World
Helloween — Gambling with the Devil
Boston — Boston
much better than the overrated Dark Side Of The Moon if you ask me. Got it on vinyl.

Nice list!  Now I have to go pop in some UFO.  I love Michael Schenker.  I'm sorry to have had the displeasure of meeting him in person though- he was a total d-bag but signed my UFO ticket stub backstage anyway.  I got to see him play "Doctor Doctor" last year with Carmine Appice last year.  Sooo tasty...

The one I have listened to most is Inferno by Motorhead... the first 3 songs are so fast an loud :3 I suppose that would be my favourite of all time.

My favourite right now would probably be Super Collider by Megadeth. It's far from their best album but there's a few very good songs on it!

It's way too hard to narrow it to just one, so here's a few.

The Cure - Disintegration
Thursday - War All the Time
Daft Punk - Discovery
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Sigur Ros - ()
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures

That's a good album. Probably my favorite Motörhead release.

My all time favorite album is ANNIHILATOR's "ALICE IN HELL". It came out in 1989, and it was jsut hard and thrashy like Metallica and the vocalist was just great and there was an excellent instrumental called "SCHIZOS ARE NEVER ALONE".

I love both. I'd have to agree that Wish You Were Here has superior songs, but Dark Side has phenomenal pacing, progression, and integration. The whole is more than the sum of its parts.

I, too, fall into the 'love both' camp, and agree with the points above. 'Wish' does offer amazing songs, while 'Moon' is an extraordinary example of a whole that is much more than the sum of it's parts. If, however, the human heart of Pink Floyd was ever made available to the listening public, I would suggest it's in the vinyl grooves of 'Wish You Were Here'. At the end of the day, then, 'Wish' gets my vote.

Now I'm going to hurry over to the 'What made you happy today' thread and post: 'The 'Dark Side' vs 'Wish You Were Here' commentary' in the 'Favourite Album' thread!'

Hard one this time.............
Bit of a toss-up between "The Notorious Byrd Brothers" by The Byrds, "Volunteers" by Jefferson Airplane, and anything by Pink.
