Well.... I never thought I'd see myself on a Forum setting again. I'm not much of one for this kind of setting.

My name is Alex, and I consider myself to be transgender. It took me a few months of struggling to come to this conclusion after putting together all of the pieces, and believe me, it wasn't the easiest thing in the world for me to do. I've always been horrible with change; when my best friend, Jonathan left my school system and I lost contact with him, when I broke up with my ex girlfriend, when I went away to school... All of it is difficult to me. The transitioning from thinking of myself as Catherine has started to fade, minus the fact that I'm stuck with my parents calling me by my horrible birth name and all my documentation still reciting the name I want to forget. My school knows me now as Alex, and almost all of my friends call me by that name, and I'm proud to say I'm feeling better about myself.

Anyway. My name is Alexander Miles, I am 20, soon to be 21, pre-HRT, pre-Everything... And I'd like to be able to make your acquaintance!

Oh goodness I was informed I posted in the wrong spot, I'm sorry! Thank you for the welcome, too, by the way... And hello Amy! I'm going to go out on a limb to ask if you like Doctor Who?  :P

Alex is awesome, I should know; I talk with him all the time in the chat, he's someone certainly welcomed aboard. Plus, I consider him to be in my very small, but close circle of friends.

I just hope he likes hazing... ;)

I'll be 100% honest. I haven't been a fan of the 11th doctor, but I'm looking forward to the 12th, actually.

What other kind of shows do you like? I'm quite partial to Sherlock.

Thank you for moving this. I didn't even realise there was an 'Introductions' section until Jesstrogen mentioned it to me in Chat.

Hi! A big warm welcome to the family baby. A family, not a forum is what we have here and I think after a while you will see that is true. You have been adopted now and I look forward to getting to know you better in the postings. A word of warning though, this family is VERY addictive. It is so easy to lose track of time here. BIG HUG!!  :)

Thank you very much~! Yeah, I'm aware. I've been on the chat for 6 months, almost, by now. It's quite an addicting site, and I'm glad to be a part of it. This will be the second time I've been 'adopted', haha.

:o I don't think I can talk to you now. :P I like Matt Smith as the Doctor though I am interested in seeing how Peter Capaldi turns out.

Sherlock is awesome! :) I like all different kinds of shows except for crime dramas and medical dramas, I don't get what people see in them.

Hi Alex, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8267 members. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

Hi, Alex!  ;D

Welcome to the family, little brother. Come on in and make yourself at home. The people here are fantastic and wonderfully supportive. Janet always means it when she mentions asking questions and seeking answers, this is the place for doing that. So many people are so willing to go above and beyond to help. It's great. I hope you enjoy it.  :D

Personally I prefer 9 and 10, and to me, the companions were easier to relate to than Amy and Rory, but I did like them. Amy was interesting, indeed. I do love Sherlock as well, and, heyyyy, I love crime shows. CSI, Bones, Law and Order... To each their own, I suppose...

I'm a Weymouthite. I see you study in Bridgewater. Small world, isn't it?  Hugs, Devlyn

It really is. I just transferred back home from a school I would have liked to have stayed at, but... Looks as though Lady Luck was not on my side money-wise. So I'm just trudging along at Bridgewater; i'd love to go back to my old school, but what can you do, right? thanks again for the warm welcome to Forums; I personally don't like writing a lot on forums, I'm more of an instantaneous kind of person, which is why I prefer the chat, but I thought, why not give Forums a shot? I'm glad to meet you all.
