Jane's Sweet Refrain

Hi, I'm giving serious thoughts to getting a nose job. I seem to pass fine, but having a more feminine nose would boost my confidence. My question is this: Since I'm only in the market for rhinoplasty, do I need to see a plastic surgeon who specializes in FFS? Or would one who has performed operations on cisgender women with similar noses suffice? Thanks

I'm going to dr Cardenas, planned for rhinoplasty only for now. His wife specialize in it I think.

Dear Jane,

If you are only going for a rhinoplasty i would choose a doctor that specializes in rhinoplasty but i would ask him if he worked with transgender woman before.Personally i would recommand Dr Denenberg in Omaha he is really nice and explains everything in detail and he worked with transgender woman before so he understands our needs, but the only downside he is a bit pricey.

Thanks you so much for your help. I think I would be satisfied if I saw pictures of the surgeon's work on cisgender women who had basically identical noses. But one who specialized in FFS is likely to have had more experience with noses similar to mine. The biggest consideration is distance from my central Ohio home. It sure would be nice to do it locally; otherwise, I add hotel and travel to my bill and trouble.
