A conversation on Facebook with someone I used to play bass for in college  ;D

How wonderful!  I'd say that's a full-on pass if I ever read one!  :)

Last meeting with this therapist, I knew it was only temporary though. The trans-dedicated one on campus is booked through March, so I'm being sent off campus to one, and I actually get my pick. Oh my, I never got this with my parents in control.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Had a great outing as myself and a superb therapy session. I even said hi to a few people in my best fem voice. I guessed I passed as it didn't seem that they cared or are just use to seeing trans people. Still I'm happy as can be right now.

Here, if you still hadn't. *Hugs* Sorry for whatever it is, though. Hopefully something will come along to balance it out soon.

Gym trainer kept calling me "he".  :)

Lol, thanks Night Haven.  I bookmarked the thread, I keep forgetting to do that when I see it.  My day wasn't completely horrible, just one of those days when things were all wrong from the very start.

Gratz on your gendering sir.

Ugh, yeah, everybody gets those days. They always seem to come at the worst times.

*Tilts top hat* Thank you, miss.

More like pop out of my cocoon. Spreading my wings is a little bit down the road, still.

So I have survived the first electro session on my face. No where near as bad as I thought it would be.
Lots of white hairs to remove so it will take some time.  >:(
Started going grey in my early 20's so bother that the laser doesn't work the best.

Have a 2 hour session booked next time so more fun.

That with everything else going on I feel very happy with the steady progress I am finally making.
Some of these I never ever thought I would/could be doing.

Laser, Check
Therapist , Check
Hormones, Check
Electro, Check
Time, bother....

Oh well still happy. ;D

Jenny, I'm with you GF. I'll have my first electroysis treatment Saturday morning. I finally found a nice woman close by, 35 minute drive that is very experienced. She is fun to talk with & we both know there will be lots of visits. I had laser treatments for all dark hair however the gray hairs have to go!!!

I know it will hurt however I'm really excited to think that one day maybe not to far away I can actually have a nice clean face & never ever shave again. Oh happy day.

HRT is also going very well. I feel good.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Agree FrancisAnn, I look forward to never having to shave it again just like all us girls do.
It's the most horrible thing to deal with on a daily basis.
Lucky for me I'm 10 minutes away from my place. A 2 hour session is going to seem long but they offer up to 3 hours which I will book after the next session. It could hurt a tad. :o
Still I love every step forward.

I love E as it's wonderful stuff ;D

Hugs

My new tyres have made my car a dream to drive. I've been terrified to drive in the rain for the past few months because my car is very prone to aquaplaning, so I spent a lot of time researching the correct type of tyres to solve this. I had them fitted on Saturday, and our roads were flooded this morning but my car was surefooted throughout. I felt safe & confident for the first time in ages.

Jeez. I need to get a life.  ;D

It's getting cold! (Sweater season...)
I shaved my arms for the first time and it looks awesome!!

Now all I have left are the parts of my back I can't reach well (even with the stupid, expensive extender tool I'd gotten :P). Everything else (other than head & pubes) is as clean shaven as I have time for (and as good as my razor can handle).

I just wish it wouldn't grow so quickly... I could seriously shave my entire body every 2-3 days (some parts require it daily)... but the tough parts are once a week, only.

LOL... I came out MTF shortly after trading in my corolla for a minivan. Coincidence?

I think so, that sounds like nesting to me  ;D

I don't know... the new woman in my life will thankfully be sterile ;) (And yet... I wish she weren't  ::))

The events leading to me coming out were complex and subconscious... so mebbe!

My sister changed her mind and decided to give me $1 for my cashews yesterday.  That made me happy today.

Pre-ops and non-ops might want to skip this one .....

I divorced in '93 and haven't been with a man very often since then. Today was a "first date" of sorts with a man 30 years my junior and OMFG was it HAWT!!!! I haven't been that turned-on in AGES! Three Os in 15 minutes and I am STILL wet and puffy 2 hours later. Nice to know that although I am 64 (and nearly 40 years post) everything still works  ;) I was never like this as a teenager LOL!

Oh yes, that made me VERY happy today ROFL!!!

There's a non-transitioning forum now.  Yay!
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

I logged into this thread to write the following: I am happy I got to speak with my SAA (Sex Addicts Anonymous) sponsor this morning. Inspired by what he shared with me and, as a result, want to talk with him at some not too distant future point about my being transgender.

These remain very true. Very happy for all of them. The day takes a turn...

Then I read the above and I am suddenly SO HAPPY! Thank you Susan et al for putting this up. I feel like I exist just a little bit more than I did five minutes ago!
