Shared my therapy session with a girl from our autism therapy center today. I can't stop thinking about her somehow. We've been trying to actually do something out of therapy for weeks now, but me being the idiot i am, i forgot to check my messages and responded too late.

After getting off to a late start this morning, I ran all the way to class to find that it'd been canceled. Yay!

Awesome! Too bad you couldn't sleep in, but maybe you were awake and did something productive instead?

I say I wish they'd cancel work sometime... but us USG employees have had too much experience with that lately ;) Can I qualify that with paid?

I did! I wrote a paper I definitely would have put off if I'd waited until tonight.

And oh goodness! I'm not ready to be a real grown up in these uncertain times lol.

My ex and his friend are going to attempt to fix my car tomorrow. They looked at it today and think they can fix it for less than $50. I'm hoping.

I'm not sure what's more awesome, the fact that you're on such good terms with your ex or that you might get such a great deal! Yay! :)

I'm trying! :)

I'm president emeritus of the Peter Pan Society and have always related with those kids that lived under the stump at Never-Never Land. Hook has always just represented societal responsibility constantly pulling at my cotton tail, trying to draw me out of my comfy spot and make me be a real grown-up. (I've been faking it all these years)

Hook says that Shaina should be studying for that LSAT two days from now. Muhahaha!

Lab went well today. We were the last ones out, but still! We were doing titrations which I used to be bad at. Today, I was actually the competent one! I also helped my partner out a lot which I like because it makes me feel smart.
I also got a package in the mail. I love getting packages.
Next week is only a two day week for me. Not that I mind school. I'm just looking forward to the extra time off.
I'm going to see Thor on Saturday which I am ridiculously excited about!
I feel really good and excited in general today. I love being me.

Knew there was a reason I liked you ;)

I'm the "rebel" or non-grown-up at work. I'm not sure how that works with trying to be a girl scout to avoid any problems during work transition . . . I DO follow the rules -- (all the really important ones ;) and even most of the unimportant ones).

Go sis!  How is that working?

She made me feel a lot better and she told me that she was going to help me drive and will send me some positive speaker to listen to online.  She said that she was really proud of me, despite things not going the way I neccessarily wanted then to go.  She's proud of me for shelling out the hundred bucks out my pocket and taking the initiative and how that is a characteristic of a great leader.  She had to leave foor Bible Study but she did pray with me before she left.

All moved in, not 100% unpacked yet, but I did leave my bathroom kit in my old room. Oh well, I can pick it up tomorrow, along with my bike.

My therapist's smile when I told him that, among other things since our last appointment, I have joined this forum.
'Though it is the nature of mind to create and delineate forms, and though forms are never perfectly consonant with reality, still there is a crucial difference between a form which closes off experience and a form which evokes and opens it.'
