Hi Genzen :)

What a fab dress! I really like it! I agree with Robin's suggestions. May I suggest a lace front wig? Sometimes they have a more natural looking hairline.

You have really nice cheekbones that would stand out a bit better with some make-up. (Please teach me when you master it-I can't use make-up to save my life! :P ) All in all, you're well on your way!

I think it does help, yeah. It helps people focus on your eyes for sure, vs other 'tells'.....here's one without the glasses so you can make your mind up

This one, whoa...total knock-out!

Thanks Ladies! Just feels that my progress is going so slowly......I know at my age it's going to take longer, but I had a lot of early changes then bam, nothing perceptible after that

I would totally spend my hard earned gold coins on +5 Glasses of Femininity.  ;)

That doesn't help. You have gorgeous eyes, you look great without glasses. However, on your advice I think I will get them a try when the time comes, I could use that +5... Thank you.  :D

So, I just put on makeup for the first time ever.

And while in the wig I have no doubt that I look female, (which is why the wigged pictures are over in the "fabulous" thread,) I'm still kind of doubting my potential to pass without the wig on. I've still never been gendered female without it. I've now been growing my hair out for 10 months, and 10 months on HRT is coming up in another 6 days, so here's what I look like wearing makeup for the first time, but without the wig.

How am I coming?

Carrie I like the top pic more. Both are great but I think I like the more relaxed face that you have there.

My, how you've changed, Carrie. In fact,  your profile pic resembles my aunt!
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

I hope you ladies don't mind one of the lads commenting here, but Carrie, you look lovely even without the wig ;) You have that nice wave to your hair that many girls dream of having, I'm looking forward to seeing when it is even longer! And I know this might be a bit soon, but congratulations on your soon 10 months on HRT :)

And KelsieJ? I love your eyes! Just... Don't give me puppy eyes, I am sure I would have trouble resisting those.

And last, but not least! Genzen, I think you could really rock out a light smokey eye, some nice shade to show of those nice cheek bones you have, and perhaps a light pink lip gloss.  (I have three sisters who have given me a lot of make up tutorials...) And I also want to note, that dress you are wearing seems to give you a nice shape around the waist as well :) You really suit it.

Good job on the make up. Just need to fluff your natural hair a bit and no one will ever guess you're not fem by pics.

So do I post my best or worst photos from the set? I went with my best.
I finally shaved my beard tonight and threw on this Halloween wig! No make up in these photos and no HRT yet.
I wish I could just go to work like this tomorrow :)

You know what?  The wig sort of ruins the effect, but you have potential - love the smile.

Before I realized it was you, my first that was, "Who is that silent film era actress.  I know I've seen her before."

I like the wig....but yeah, not sure its the best for passing.

I am getting a 1920's vibe from your look in these pics Carrie, I can definitely see you in a Miss Marple of Hercule Poirot story, film, tv series.

(Grabs a long pointy cigarette holder, some red lipstick, and a skimpy flapper dress...  ;))

And Christine, Willow, and LordKAT, thank you! And Dalex, thank you too! I'm also REALLY looking forward to finally having it grown out. I've been wanting long hair for my entire life! I can't wait! :D
