So its official, after talking to an attorney i have began the process of filing a discrimination complaint against Walmart with the EEOC. Sadly this is my only route as Ohio protects companies against wrongful termination law suits.

I know ill never be able to work for them again but really don't care, hell after this ill never spend another penny there even if i have to go naked and starving.

Did they fire you because of your trans status? That's pretty low. Hope you nail their balls to the wall!

IIRC, WalMart supposedly has an trans anti-discrimination clause for hiring and firing; you shouldn't be fired just for being trans.

I think if you win , you get some sort of back pay. Or is that only if you go back to work for them?

No its not because of my trans status, although i think its BS that i was told i have to use the family restroom until i gavemy GM paperwork proving i have a vagina, but instead its because of my injury. The store letting me go while still on modified duty falls under discrimination under state law. Had they waited until i was released to full duty to let me go there would have been no discrimination.
