Well i guess i shouldnt call him rude but hear out my story and you can be the judge.
So, I study music at university, i have a professor who teaches me cello. I'll be studying under him for the next 4 years. The guys from belgium, i have european family and im used to culture norms and differences, i know where my family is from being anything but straight is frowned upon and your probably gonna get beat up or killed. Or something in between. Luckily my university is a safe zone and this professor doesnt really care either way.
Today during my lesson i expressed my depression because of my parents divorce, how its hindered my practice and what not.
He then starts ranting about a friend of his who is getting divorced. How he has kids and they're all young and how he and his wife are so great then he goes, "apparently the guy has a problem with his gender? Its wierd. How can someone have a problem with their gender."
He laughed while saying this like it was rediculous and im kinda sitting there, in my man get up, not having the laughs hes having for obvious reasons. I kinda wanted to call him out on it but i dont wanna out myself :/
Well he'll figure it out eventually,
I suppose on a better note, im passing more, a lot of people and guys too have been calling me guy and dude and it feels good!
Also i get to start T in may. I could start in febuary, but i think ill hold out till the end of the school year, or close to then. So yeah its been funky
