Night Haven

Putting off coming out to father and sister for very little good reason. Father came from an apparently religious family (and we still have a few church-going relatives), and that's a concern even if he and mother don't seem to be religious. Sister could help with this, as I really don't know how to approach him but she might give me perspective, but I'm not fond of her and haven't been for a while. My genetic family doesn't actually mean that much to me, so I'm *slightly* vexed to have to depend on them for this, which is just another reason I've been putting things off.

On top of that I need to have another talk with mother, since it seems she doesn't get that I do need to transition, or at the very least get top surgery (I know we have more than enough money for it) so the body gets a little less hate.

Back to dragging heels... Perhaps I'll talk to sister next time we're alone in the kitchen.

It's difficult to draw while listening to a good song and when it hits the chorus you can't help but to dance while sitting. @_@
Damn you, Taeyang.

*Chuckle* This is why I can't listen to music (at least with lyrics) when working.

Gotta be careful with the background music for working. ;P
My choices are usually k-pop and some aggressive German metal... Because my job is either super nice or super irritating. xD

I want to do something to my hair...
More specifically I want them like this:

Goddammit. 8I

I have indulged in Rammstein the most (missing only two or three albums) but I also like Megaherz and Oomph!. :)
Sehnsucht era Rammstein is just perfect for sanding walls. |D And Korean boybands are good for wallpapering.

Makes sense. Sanding is like, well, sanding and wallpapering is making the walls all pretty. Then again, I have no idea what Korean boybands sound like.

One of my former friends (the one who flipped on me for telling her what the cause of Down's Syndrome was) just messaged me asking to help her with a presentation at the end of the month. I told her that I would but for a price: she still owes me an apology and I refuse to be treated as anything less than equal. Chances are, she'll complain about how I'm being unfair or something, but I feel really good about my response.
Someone told her I was on T. I'm not exactly keeping it secret, so that's not the problem. The problem is that at least one of my friends are talking about me with her.
Update: Huh. She actually apologized.

You know there's something a little bit off about yourself when you watch a movie and the character you most want to be like is the devil. And not the suave devil from... umm... what's an example of suave devil from a movie? Anyway, not that one. The one played by Viggo Mortensen.

Depends on the wallpaper, I've seen some really fugly ones. xD But that's just me nitpicking, excuse me.
But if you find the right Korean bands, they sound... well, pretty. :'D Or just badass.

Wondering if I should go to bed or finish this coloring. There's not much left to be done but it'll still take at least an hour even if I don't procrastinate.
I guess bed is a better option.

I hate it when I innocently start a thread but then fear others won't have good intentions when posting. I don't like feeling like I am opening a can of worms.

Now I am thinking, where does the saying "like opening a can of worms" come from?

Bedazzled has a suave devil. I prefer Tim Curry from Legend, though.

The little we had just disappeared today... Maybe it came from here?

Been under a lot of stress lately...and anxiety. Hard to tell from whence it came, or whither it shall lead...

But today, after a meeting with a court facilitator (person who reviews divorce papers; she got mine all nice and purty) I've noticed a big drop in anxiety.

I was even able to do the dishes today, something I hadn't been able to do for almost a week.

Less than a month to go until the judge says we're free!! (Except for the child support payments...)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

That's a skill you'll have to learn to become a real Canadian, Beth.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!
