Welp, after years of self denial and misery, I FINALLY called and set my consultation appointment with Dr. Ousterhout yesterday, can I get a Whoop Whoop?  haha!

It's not until mid-January, but with the holidays right around the corner, the time will pass quickly...I hope!

Mira was such a doll, she answered ALL of my questions... which were many 

I'd love to hear from Dr. Ousterhout alum, either on the board or privately, to learn what I can realistically expect from the whole experience...consultation, surgery, recovery, etc.

Love you all and the knowledge I've gained from your open and frank discussions.

Congrats!!! I'm a Dr. O girl and I am positively 100% happy with my results. I had my surgery back in '08/'09 so it's been a while, but I still have fond memories. He is very keen on everything and Mira is very helpful! Do they still have the recovery house or whatever that I think some of the nurses operate? I remember that being a really, really great experience. You'll enjoy the consultation and he'll go over everything that's possible and what he thinks you should do. There was never any pressure to get any procedure, but he laid out all the information about each thing and the difference between the male/female forms. I ended up having to split it up into two appointments for financial reasons, but in the end I'm thrilled with how everything turned out.

If you want to know anything I can try to answer some questions. I may not remember everything, but I'd be glad to help with whatever I can.

Thanks for your words and insight...I simply can't describe how tickled I am to finally be running, not just walking, forward.  I'm now where I should have been years ago, but sadly there is no rewind button.

As I progress on my journey, I'd love to confer with you (and anyone else who'd care to chat) about where I am and what's coming.

I'm totally optimistic that Dr. Ousterhout will provide me with a super experience and a "well beyond satisfactory" result...c'mon January
