I had a great day yesterday seeing my other daughter for the day, I decided to go dressed as I have come out to my daughters and my x wife my daughter said that she taught I looked cute. what a big mistake that was, when I went to drop my daughter off at the end of the day my x wife braught her new boyfriends parents who let the insults fly calling me a f°°°°°g ->-bleeped-<- and a queer they had no concern that we were standing at the front of the police station.

What should I do as I don't want that every fortnight.

Respectfully request that your ex not bring other people to the pick up is probably the only way. If she refuses and it continues I'd suggest getting it written into the shared custody clause.

I don't think a heaping of hate is written into the visitation interaction. In a continuing situation of such I would ask a lawyer about dealing with hostility during visitation. Document this.

I know it's forbidden to insult people on this board so I'll just say hypothetically that any adult who finds the occasion to use a four letter word and call someone the three-letter epithet for gay is so lacking in class and couth as to be an embarrassment to our entire species.

You have a right not to be abused, and that's what this was. Abuse.

Can you tell your ex that next time it happens you will refuse to drop your daughter off and require that your ex pick her up?

Either that or go with a friend, someone who you think can stand up for you. People think twice about attacking someone in a group. There's security in numbers.

Is there anything in the US laws against using swearing and abusive language openly in the public  - here where I live such a behaviour, depending on other circumstances, might be seen as a petty offence, and children being at the scene make up for an aggravated offence. If not that, then maybe Your local equivalent of Orphan's court might be "happy" to learn about this, especially, if You have a video proof. Or those cameras in front of the police precinct have taped that already - I am sure in the US there must be video surveillance outside the police premises, but but they might share those records only on the basis of warrant, plus there might not be an audio, besides usually this stuff gets stored for 24-48h only and then the new record erases the previous one.
Again, this is not a legal advice, and comes from someone who is familiar with the European systems - I can only provide basic guidance on how to collect evidence and where to look for them, so if You want to move forward with this, contact a local lawyer for legal assistance. Maybe just a bit of emotional blackmail or simple bluffing might suffice - like telling them that You already have recorded that or have a tape with it...
