  I started my medication 1.5 months ago and had my first blood test, and wonder if my prolactin levels could be considered normal, whatever normal is.  Also I've listed other related levels, and its such a shame he did not checkmy estroil levels.

Prolactin 55 ug/l
Testoserone <0.7  (reference female 0.3-3.8 nmol/l)
FSH <0.1 U/l  (reference female 3-15)
LH <1.0 I know this higher in cisfemales, but I do not know if this matters for me.
Potassium and liver functions look well within normal ranges.

I'd be grateful for some insight on my prolatin levels.

Their assay was not sensitive to detect my T levels.  So cool !

Mine is 20 and standard nonpregnant female range is 2 to 28.  So yours looks a bit high, and it would be in the lower end of the pregnant female range.  Probably o.k. but that's up to your doctor, and not us. 

And why didn't they get an estradiol lever test.  So what meds are you taking?  Don't post the dose.

I've been taking Prognova (2 pills daily) and cyproterone acetate (2 pills daily), and my blood tests were taken 5 weeks after I started.

My GP emailed me today, and he said results were expected and normal for the dosages I took.  After 2 weeks I had breast growth that stopped me from wearing slightly snugly fitting jumpers to work.

This sounds good and your GP may have done the estradiol test but didn't pass on the info.  On the next test run just ask if it can be included. 

In the US Androcur is not available and so I don't know much about it.  But I understand it's far more effective than the Spironolactone we use.

I'm sure you're aware that high prolactin levels can stimulate lactation, so you could have a little wetness or milk discharge after several months.  But again, your doctor can advise you on this.  Some of us would like being able to lactate while others don't.  It's all a personal thing.

He did not run this, and maybe he forgot, because he always gives me copies of my results.  I'll have another test next month any way.
