How often do you shave your legs?

I just wonder? I have to shave my legs every day or they just feel terrible. My electrolysis salon also does waxing & I think I'm going to give myself a holiday reward & have her wax my legs. I've never had a professional waxing.

Shaving is OK for me, it's no big deal & only takes 3-5 minutes however it is a nusance if I'm in a hurry to get dressed.

mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Not very often lol maybe once a week on Saturdays. But I haven't shaved for almost 10 days. I have very little body and limb hair. It's almost non-existant and the spiro has really slowed it's growth big time. I shave my face anytime I go out but I pluck it too. I didn't shave last week for two days though and still got gendered correctly. This will never be a problem again very soon once I get paid my UC next week. The problem for me is once I do that if I need to pass as male (I'm female so I don't say pass the other way). I barely pass now and of the people that I tell about my situation they all say the same thing: if it wasn't for the beard shadow they would never believe it.

Joanna, Such a lucky girl to have minimun hair. I sure hope the spiro will help reduce mine. It's a nightmare for me right now. My arms, hands & legs are so ugly with hair growth. Thanks & take care GF.

Once a week I shave my legs, my arms, my hands and other parts that have more hair than I want.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I shave both my legs and armpits once a week. Might be twice a week when I go full-time but the hair doesn't grow super quick and isn't easy to notice until it gets longer. Also hoping spiro will thin it out more.

Anyone epilate? Going to do that again once I find my epilator lol.

About once a week, I think. Whenever the combination of noticeable fuzzy and spare time in the shower happens. :) I admit I go a bit longer in winter, as a lot of women around here say they do; I don't bother until the stubble gets long enough to bug me, then. Good luck with the waxing!

I do everyday in the shower, it's such a quick easy routine that's it's really no big deal at all to me

I pretty much settled on epilating after trying waxing, depilatory, shaving, and tweezing as well. The epilator left my legs feeling too rough at first, but with repeated epilations, and spiro, my legs stay pretty smooth.  I epilate every 2 days or so.

My salon uses the "Nufree finipil" hair removal system. From the brochure it is not a normal type hot wax & uproots the entire bulb & hair shaft without any breakage.

I'm going to give this a try soon. That would be great to find out how long it really lasts?

I'm full time and shave a few times a week. I epilated for a couple of years and been on hrt for more than 4.
The combination has thinned and lighten my hair considerably so a quick shave is all I need. Oh I do still epilate my arms a couple times a year.
Epilating takes allot longer and hurts but does last much longer and can reduce and lighten you hair. Oh I tried using it on my face; bad idea.

As a matter of fact, I shaved just today. I would say probably every 2 weeks.

How often i need to shave, and how often i do shave are two totally different animals....i need to shave every other day or iget super prickly. Since it's fall and cold and i only wear jeans now i probably shave once a week or whenever my legs itch so bad i can't sleep.
Im wondering if anyone started alternating there shaving....legs and body one day, face the next? Just cuz i was thinking about trying it to see if it breaks up the monotony of shaving from the hairline down.

Every couple of days. Depends on if I'm running late for work or not. I am a pretty big body-hair-phobe though and it will drive me crazy if I feel them on my clothes or sheets or anything. God forbid I find a derelict hair follicle somewhere on my body. I may have a mild case of OCD.

It used to be every few days but since I had them lasered, it's now hardly ever which is wonderful and there is no stubble to worry about. :)

So if you can afford getting them lasered I would highly recommend it.

So long and thanks for all the fish

Correctomundo. That doesn't work well at all.
"Of course!"

I shave my legs once or twice a week which isn't enough. Now that it is getting cold I am sticking with just using trimmers to keep the hair short. Too many cold chills and goosebumps to shave. I'm looking into getting an epilator.  Armpits it's every 2 days.
Byes!!!! It's been real but this place isn't for me. Good luck in the future everyone.

Right now I epilate once a week. The main problem I have is I get that red bumpy chicken skin look regardless if I shave or epilate. I'm guessing that its just ingrown hairs.

I must admit that epilating hurts more than my first laser treatment to get rid of my beard. MUCH more haha and I just do my arms and legs when I epilate. Tried to epilate my armpits, I'll stick to shaving them until I have them lasered off. That was painful, I don't even want to think what it feels like to epilate your face.
