Gosh I miss Aaliyah.  She was such a beautiful and talented artist that went before her time. She could have done so many great things for the music industry.  I don't listen to her music often, but when I do, she has that type of voice that makes me feel calm.

I actually did cook up some bacon and cut it into bits to throw in along with some minced salami slices, onions, olives, mushrooms, some garlic and a few Italian spices

I should sleep. Getting up in 2 hours 30. And my apartment is so messy you're risking your life by entering and I believe my parents are going here tomorrow with my new stereo. Oh well, friend of mine is going to sleep over so she can clean up whilst I sleep. /win

Nursing-from what I understand-is an incredibly difficult career you shouldn't pursue if you're not interested.
It's one of the few jobs where disinterest on the job could mean someone's life.

Lol I wish the pouty face on him, but he never told me that so it wouldn't work!  I thought about going nursing for the cash but then I realized in time that it wasn't for me.  Now my father feels the need to add in sly comments like "well you chose your path where you will have to deal with drunks and get stabbed, but that was your choice since you didn't want to take up nursing."  Yeah, because with me being a germaphobe and I, I just reallllly want to hang around hospitals all day where sick people are.  I commend nurses for what they do but I just simply cannot do tat.

Nurses, especially ER nurses, sometimes deal with drunks and get stabbed.

Nursing, imho, must be a passion, it can't be anything else and still provide exceptional medical care and humanity. Without passion...one provides "adequate" care, and "Oh yeah, you're still alive. Now I have to empty the bedpan again.

Hats off to the nurses out there...and police, fire, sanitation workers, etc. All the people who make our cities and country great.
