Low T a good thing?

I got my telephone consult with my GP today after going through all manner of tests. I foolishly thought she'd proscribe some HRT scripts today. The blood that was taken for the Endocrinologist wasn't a substitute for actually seeing her. Of course my GP knew that, but didn't bother to tell me or set up an appointment. I have to wait for the Endo office to call me and set up that appointment. Then she decided I needed to talk to the hemoglobin specialist due to a med I am currently taking. The wait gets longer...  A little frustrated. She should have known this before and already set up those appointments... Grrr... But that's not the point, just needed to vent that out first.  ;)

Turns out my T level is just barely above the low end of the currently medically acceptable level. This seems to be good news, I think. Is it? Does anyone know if that means I'm less likely to have been completely ravaged by T? Could it make transition easier than someone with high T? Trying to find a positive spot for the day.  ;D

Sounds like a positive to me, when you are going in that direction.  Maybe rubick's cube while you wait for appointments.

Or maybe you'd just prefer to pet a KAT. I hear it is quite calming.

It might mean you need less or no anti-androgens... I had T below the bottom of the male range, and ended up not using AAs at all, because it dropped squarely into the female range on a low dose of estrogen only.

You would need less blockers and won't be as effected (male puberty wise)

If you can avoid spiro it will be a very happy day for you. It makes you pee all the time & you must drink lots of liquids/water while taking it.

Maybe this will make you feel better.

Good luck GF.

Low T would definitely a happy dance moment for me.  The less T in my system, the better I feel.

I'm afraid I'm a dog person, my Lord KAT. Cat's bite unexpectedly, so I'm a little wary of KATs...

I don't know about being able to avoid Spiro, I'm still technically within the "normal" range. Though with Jill's permission I will use this for happy dance material.  :D

Thanks.  :icon_flower:

This KAT only bites if you want him to.
