If it isn't unseasonably hot and the air choking with smoke from fires we're being flooded and hail stones are whizzing around our heads. Sydney... seems like there's no nice middle place with the weather sometimes! That storm was crazy, I know we're many suburbs apart Jen but we got one of those incredibly close and loud thunder bolts out where I live too, sure rattled the fillings in my teeth!

I feel like a novice skiier screaming downhill on a double diamond run.

I live atop a hill overlooking a park. Last week, after months of dry and hot spring weather, the grass was as brown and as dead looking as you could get. After a week of heavy rain the park is now a bright emerald green. Amazing.

i don't know your specific circumstances but is it possible to burn the bridge in such a way that you create new ones at the same time? It requires a gentle, tactful, respectful and yet a strong unwavering approach. Not easy I know!

I wish I could tell you the right answer...I face basicaly this very same thought everyday. Should I keep with my beliefs and go trough a path that will end destroying my relation with my family, my chances of getting a good job, all my current friendships? Or shall I give up, lose my dreams and any possibility of happiness, staying the same, hiding who I am and what I feel?

I face this though everyday...and I usually decide to stay with my dreams and face the consequences. Your self respect is more important than anything and new friends and opportunities can always be found. Who knows what the future has for us?

I am worried about Keaira. She has been depressed the past couple days.

No, it'd be ok. It's also very true. (One can't fix a problem without knowing what the problem is)...and if the person isn't replying to your communications, then it's easy to think that either they're busy, or they've decided to quietly pull away from you (for whatever reason--and it might not be something you did)

Tonight's TDOR event, which I had helped to organize, went well. there was a great turn out. And Jannie was remembered. I wish Caleb and Azzie had been able to attend. I know we all miss Jannie a lot. Teresa, Jannie's Mom was there too. she made paper cranes for the event. 38 of them. 1 for every birthday Jannie had had. Teresa gave me a Lanyard that had belonged to Jannie, her tag still on it. She didn't bring Jannie's remains to the event. I think, until I can actually pay my final respects to her, there won't be any closure for me. Still, I think she would have been happy with tonight's service.

I need to read up on the pharmacokinetics of oral estradiol.

Gwynne is going to make me read a dictionary again. Not a bad thing at all.
