Pellet method in NYC?

So I am soon starting hormones. I have my appointment set up for bloodwork to get hormone levels ahead of getting my prescription. Initially I was going to ask for injectables, which I figure almost every trans specialized endocrinologist will have as an option for HRT delivery. I was gonna go for that for a few reasons. One is that I am pre-diabetic and have to take something orally that levels out my blood sugar three times a day, so I don't want to be adding more pills to tax on my liver. Secondly I've read that injections may feminize a little quicker. Lastly for me, and this is a me thing and by no means an affront to those ladies who use pills, I feel like needing to take a pill for estrogen multiple times a day would be a bit dysphoria triggering for me.

So I've been doing my research and reading how the pellet method is really gaining traction and that it's the easiest on the liver, most direct delivery, and also often can be used without spiro. That said, I've been having trouble finding out if there's anyone out here in NYC who uses this method of HRT delivery. All I can find is someone out in LA (who I know some of the girls on here have used). I'm gonna call the endocrinologist who I have an appointment with and ask if they do it, but I don't think they do. Any East Coast-ers know of anyone?

Usually we are started on pills so reactions can be measured. Pellets come later as they are long term, 6 months at a time.

Ah sorry I was unclear there, I did know that they won't start you with pellets, but I was figuring that if that's what I want eventually I might as well explore who in the area does it.

Though you raise another question I'm now curious about, will they almost always start you with pills or if you request/have a good reason will they be okay with starting you with injections?

I'm going to see the Los Angeles Doc and pretty sure he will start on pellet right away as he feels its the best method.
