We are starting preparations for the 2014 "Reclaim the Night" march in Oxford. The theme this year will be "Freedom" - freedom from violence and the threat of violence, freedom to express ourselves and make use of public space. If anyone would like to suggest a rewording of that sentence please do!
We will be having a launch event, probably on the 13th of February. This will be a "Spoken Word" event, with speakers and readings. We would welcome contact from anyone willing to speak on this subject, and contributions of material that could be read by one of us.
We would specifically welcome a speaker openly identified as a trans-woman. If I get sufficient good material that could well be me, but someone better known would take precedence.
