A new report from the Human Rights Campaign shows that the number of Fortune 500 companies with policies on place to prevent discrimination against transgendered workers has risen by sixty per cent in the past year and a half.

Another finding of the HRC report was that more employers are now offering their GLBT workers family benefits. In the last year, seventeen more Fortune 500 companies have added domestic partnership benefits, for a total of 267, or fifty-three percent, meaning that a majority of Fortune 500 companies now offer such benefits.
