Well, I suppose I should start with my name, and who I am. It's Cornelius, or CJ, but of course, I used to use a name that was pretty different. A lot of people still call me by it, and hopefully I'll one day eradicate that. But I digress. I'm an FTM who's just beginning his social transition; I'm out to my family. Including my parents, who didn't take it very well. I live with my uncle now, and most of my close family respects my identity (although I realise it's a pretty difficult change.). I've been lurking around here for awhile and the forum has really helped me learn important factors I need to know might affect my life. I still have a lot of learning, though.

I still currently go to school, but I'll be done with that soon, thankfully. Not this year though. I don't know exactly what I want to do with my career. I draw a lot, and I've wanted to go into animation, however I'm also paranoid about the certainty (or rather uncertainty) of an art-based career and have also considered going into auto tech. However only time will tell me what will happen there. I'm in no rush. I used to have high standards stuck up my nose, but now I'd be happy making myself comfortable and accomplishing medical (which I've yet to begin, FYI) and social transition if it's the only thing I do.

Don't let me seem too cynical or standoffish. Once I get to know people I can actually be really hyperactive. I tend to be extremely talkative.  like I said, I enjoy art (I draw nearly every day), as well as music. I'm an amateur (if you can even call it that?) keyboarder who's been away from his instrument for several years. Today is about two weeks back. xD I also enjoy reading and writing and I can generally get along pretty well with people (as long as they're not the better-than-thou type!)

So...I figured I'd go ahead and come out of hiding. Hello everyone! I hope to contribute more and learn as I become a part of the community.

(Side note: I may not always have perfect attendance— my only mode of operation right now is a small iPad )

(P.S., if anyone knows them and couldn't already tell by my username, I'm obsessed with Gorillaz XD)
