Apologies for the blurry low quality of these, but I got a couple of new dresses this evening and just had to share! Better quality over the weekend. I need to grow into the floral print in the boob area (or pad a bit), other than that not a bad fit for internet purchases.

You looks great! Those dresses fit you very nicely.

I stayed home yesterday and didn't do anything on thanksgiving, I just didn't want to deal with anyone. So I made myself useful and I colored my hair again! I did some foils with a stronger lightener and more red.

I had a Dr's appt this morning for a checkup with my PCP, he said that I'm taking very well to the hrt and gave me my first breast exam. Afterwards I went shopping for a coat(not realizing that it's black friday) and picked this one up at H&M, they let me use online coupon codes in the store and it was originally $99, I got it for $48! I like it but I'm not sure how I look in it.

Earlier in the week, I had an appt with my therapist, I was running late and was in a hurry to get out of the house, so I just threw some jeans and boots on and ran out the door. I didn't have any makeup on or a bra. This was my first appt with her that I didn't wear makeup in a long, long time and she brought it up. She asked if I was still full-time and I said "Yes, why?" And she said, "Well, you're not wearing any makeup today and you usually do." my reply was "Well, you have no makeup on and you have short hair, so you must be a man!" I think she had a sense of humor about it, she kinda grinned, I hope she took it ok. I wasnt trying to be mean or anything. I just said it to prove a point that you dont need to always be wearing makeup to be feminine.
Here's exactly how I looked for my session:

Do I seem to masculine to go without anything?

You don't look masculine at all, quite the contrary!
I think that when a girl reaches a point when she can get on without wearing make up is pretty much the point where she can say she made it, and you certainly are there.
If I were you, I wouldn't ever worry about appearing not feminine enough, because you really shine in that pic with the JD shirt on and also your hair looks very lovely this way. I think that hairstyle works best for you from all the styles so far but that's just my personal opinion.

And also, that coat deserves a full-body photo session of it's own. Slap on a skirt and snap some photos, girl!

LearnedHand, V M, Laurenza, Joan, Jen Jen and michelle666... thank you all for the compliments! I showed that double pic to a work colleague who knows about my transition and she liked them too. I trust her fashion sense, she is a very classy older lady, so it was great to get her approval on top of the great feedback from here. :D

I was a bit self conscious about the glasses when I first started wearing them, now I think I look weird without them.

DietFresca

Hi There,

I've been living as a woman for just over a month now, I'm still learning the ropes, I bought my first eyelash curler last night and am not sure I'm using it right.

But anyway, I had my makeup professionally done at Macy's... tbh, I wasn't happy with the results, I feel the concealer she used make my skin look like it was made of rubber, and she went a little overboard on the eyeshadow and too dark on the lipstick.  But anyways, here's a pic of my first pro-makeup results... any tips on how to be more passable would be appreciated.

I think the makeup application is good, but she chose the wrong color eyeshadow for your skintone and eye color. I think the lipstick is a nice color for you, it just doesn't go well with the eyeshadow. It looks like you have a more olive skintone and brown eyes. I would stay away from the blues for you eyes.
Take a look at this vid:
http://www.lorealparisusa.com/en/beauty-library/videos/eyeshadow-for-brown-eyes-olive-skin.aspx
It gives some good tips for olive skin.
Makeup is a lot of trial and error. I've made tons of mistakes and learned from them all. Watch videos on makeup sites and youtube, they are very helpful. If you need any tips, feel free to ask, I'm in cosmetology school right now and makeup is one of my main focuses.

Michelle...don't be self conscious...the truth is...you look smokin hot with the glasses.  It's the naughty librarian look! 8)   I want some just like them when I get femme glasses.  Where did you get them? shoot me a link please!

I'll dig up the receipt and see if I can find the model name. They're made by Roxy (Quicksilver for girls). I saw similar ones on Warby Parker http://www.warbyparker.com/eyeglasses/women
They let you try before you buy somehow, I'm thinking of getting a slightly different pair from them. The prices are really good too.

I'm loving it except for the fact that it's a dog hair magnet, and I have two pugs. Pugs shed a lot! I've been having to immediately put it in a closet when I get home and make sure it's not touching anything else.
