I will say this, "It gets better."
The first one is always difficult, mainly because you know the gravity of doing so...the risks, the fears, the (potential) rejection, ridicule, etc...
The next few are each a little easier than the last one, but the fears and concern are still there...
But then a point is reached where most of the people who should know, do know, and the loss of one not-quite-close friend or distant relative doesn't carry the weight, the importance of the first dozen or so...
It's a lot like jumping into a cool lake in the summer...sure, the first dive is COLD, but in a few minutes you get used to it, and swimming becomes a pleasure.
