I bought myself some laser!  First appointment is next Sat for a consultation.  I'm so excited, I can't wait. Now I have to try to restrain my self from buying myself another gift and just shop for others.

Sometimes what comes up on this site is so shocking!

I read this thread's subject heading - 'Christmas gifts to yourself' - and started crying! I never think of buying gifts for myself; I don't believe I am worthy...

So, I'm going to give this matter some consideration and get back to you.

Of course you're worthy!  Why wouldn't you be.

I do kind of know where your coming from I think.  Sometimes I feel selfish buying things for my self.  But darn it no one else is going to buy some of the things I want or need.

I kind of think this Christmas will be either (1) incredibly joyous and affirming with family buying me things I actually want... or (2) the most dysphoric season of all.

I'm an optimist to a fault...... and I'm still betting on #2.
