  • I've been to Power Exchange in San Francisco.
  • More than once.
  • I've been affixed to a St. Andrew's Cross.
Okay, time for logic.

If #2 is true, than #1 must also be true, meaning #3 is false.

If #1 is false, then #2 must also be false, so #1 can never be a lie

That leaves us with #2 and #3 as the only possibilities.

C.A. uses the term "affixed" in referring to the Cross of St Andrew.  And C.A.'s family name suggests to me a connection to a Catholic Scots-Irish background.  Careful wording leads me to believe #3 is a true statement.

Therefore I disbelieve #2.
Okay, let's do this logic thing.

The clue to the context of the three above statements lies in the first item, and within that context a Saint Andrew's Cross is something used BDSM. Power Exchange in San Francisco, which I have been to more than once, has at least 2 of these fixtures to which I have never been affixed.

Items 1 and 2 are true, and item 3 is a lie.

Edit: Another clue lay in my reply to the 10 random facts about YOU thread.

2:I've written my own book but am too shy to share it.

I'm going to guess that number 1 is a lie.

1) I read fluently at age 2, meaning material like the New York Times.
2) My mother's side of the family, going by genetics/bloodline, has ≥1 member of it, alive, who is gynephilic (attracted to women).
3) My hair has been every traditional color naturally at some point in my life, possible, so blond, redhead, brown, black.

Well since I'm new I'll join the games.

1:I've never been in an Aerial vehicle of any kind.
2:I've written my own book but am too shy to share it.
3:I can't swim.

1: True I've never been in an aerial vehicle.
2: Lie I tried to write a book but I decided I liked the story better in my head.
3:True I almost drowned when I was a kid and devolved a fear of water.

2) I almost became a nun.
3) I was married to someone in prison.

1. my full birth name has 35 letters in it, written in english.
2. i can read and write 6 languages.
3. i sat on a sleeping tiger when i was about1yr old.
1. true. my surname alone has 16 letters. too bad nobody guessed it. maybe i should've put a better truth.
2. not a chance. i'm rather weak in languages and stuff. i read and write 3 and speak only 2
3. believe or not it's true! when i was around that age we went to a zoo which claimed to have tamed animals, and they would let us enter the cages and touch them, take photos and so on. for dangerous animals they would let us go near when they are asleep. so mom had taken me to the tiger and made me sit on the sleeping tiger like on horseback. years later an incident happened in that zoo where an animal attacked a child and the investigations revealed that the animals were actually drugged to doze off. eventually the zoo was banned, but i did sit on a sleeping tiger

Hmm... I'm going to go with #2 here, slightly randomly.

#1 seems unusual but not impossible, and #3 seems like an ultra-specific factoid, so I'm going with #2.

Okay my turn! ;)

Shelly I'm guessing number 3.

I hope 1 is a lie, but i know this world too well so I'm going 3.

It seems I won't be getting any more guesses so I'll reveal.

- I had 5 attempts at suicide. Lie. I actually had 7. Most of the time my best friend found me after he couldn't reach my via phone and started looking for me. Hungarian Healthcare is really bad but not that bad that they couldn't save me.
- I have 3 acoustic guitars, one of them is green. True. Her name is Sophie and she's my absolute favourite.
- My first sexual experience was with my roommate in the high school dormitory. True. I was 15, he was almost 15, we gave each other a ->-bleeped-<-. Not very proud of it though.

My three:
1. I have siblings 5, 10, and 15 years younger than me.

2. I've never drunk a drop of alcohol, never partied, and been in a dive bar exactly once in my life.

3. I never got below a C in my entire school career.

#1 is true. I also have siblings at various other age gaps. But three are quite neatly separated.

#2 is true. I am, in the common vernacular, somewhat of a prude. (Also I went to Wheaton, high on the short list of worst party schools in America.

#3 is false. Once in my life I got a D (in Calculus 1; I had to retake the class), and my father grounded me for a month. I was terrified of underachieving thereafter.

1 is true--my maternal grandfather; he was still a teenager & was likely drafted, but he also held strong nationalist ideals his, whole life so I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to join.

2 is the lie.  I did once have the goal of becoming a pastor, however.

3 is true.  I relocated to be with him.  We're divorced now & this is a good thing.

I'm going to guess that number 3 is the lie.

Here's my next set.

  • I read JRR Tolkien's The Silmarilian when I was 15.
  • I've eaten kangaroo.
  • I detest bananas.

I've had kangaroo (canned). It was at an international day my work puts on every year.

Now I feel like I should make a GIF of the bobble-head just to prove it's existence :P

#2 is actually the lie, with the caveat that I intend for it to delie in the future. I have an idea in the hopper--I just haven't shared i with the world yet  ;D

1 is true, absolutely-I can remember that far back, too. If you put in front of me, I could read it, menus, newspapers, etc.. Oddly enough, I didn't really start talking until then, either.

3 is true as well, I've had all the traditional hair colors, only person I know who has done that.

That leaves 2 the lie, and well done Andrea! How so? Only one guy on my mother's side, by blood, my cousin, and he likes guys. So nobody on her side is attracted to women, due to a guy shortage. Crazy one, isn't it?

Number 1 is indeed a lie. Though I started reading The Silmarilian when I was 15, I gave up pretty quickly. I'd be 30 before I read it cover to cover.
